Scott Griffen
Scott Griffen is deputy director of the International Press Institute (IPI) in Vienna, Austria. IPI is a global network of editors, media executives and leading journalists whose mission is to defend media freedom and support independent journalism wherever they are threatened. Scott joined IPI in 2012 as press freedom adviser and has been deputy director since 2018. He holds a bachelor’s degree in humanities from Yale University and a master’s degree in global ethics from King’s College, London.
