Emilio Carelli has been the director of Sky News in Italy since 2003. Previously he worked in the Fininvest group as writer and correspondent for different journalistic programs. He was among the founders, vice-editor and anchor of Channel 5 News, the most important news program of the Mediaset group. He was also editor of TGcom, the first news website of the Mediaset group. He was a professor of online information studies at the Università Cattolica in Milan.
