Nevio Casadio is an Italian journalist and television author. He has written for Italian newspapers such La Repubblica, Oggi and Il Mattino. At Rai, the Italian public broadcast network, he worked with Sergio Zavoli and Enzo Biagi and has dedicated programs and editorial initiatives to Indro Montanelli on the 100th anniversary of his birth. He has also created several reportages in Italy and in the world for several Italian news programs. He won the Guidarello award for auteur journalism and the Ilaria Alpi award for television journalism three times, mainly with reportages dedicated to social causes and labor victims. Currently, a collection of his reportages is available in bookshops entitled Nel silenzio un canto. Storie di ingiustizie, dolore e riscatti. Introduction by Ettore Mo, Marsilio publishing.
