Giuseppina Casarin is a singer and connoisseur of folkloristic music of Italy’s Veneto region. Throughout her career she has collaborated with top notch names in the field of Italian theatre and folk music, including Gualtiero Bertelli and Gian Antonio Stella in the Compagnia dell Acque, and still does today. She is involved in music education especially in schools, and she teaches popular song at the Pollini Conservatory in Padua in the ethnomusicology program.
