Lorenzo Del Boca is president of the Italian National Order of Journalists since 2001. A professional journalist since 1980, he began his career as a writer for daily La Stampa in Novara. In 1989 he moved on to Stampa Sera in Turin, where he covered legal events connected to terrorism. He was a national councilman of Fnsi (Italian national press federation) from the Sorrento Congress in 1984 and member of the committee at the Bormio congress in 1989. In the Villasimius Congress of 1996 he was elected president of the Press federation. A history enthusiast, he has published a series of essays.
