Fogari B. Massimo
General B. Massimo Fogari, born in Gorizia, enrolled in the military in 1978 in the 160th course of the Modena Military Academy. After his formation period, he undertook the roles of platoon commander, company commander, adjutant general, squad chief, head of regiment logistics office in various Alpine troop departments. From 1995 to 1997 he served at the Documentation and Promotional Activities Office of the Military General Staff. In 1997 he commanded the Morbegno Alpine troops battalion in Vipiteno (BZ) and in 1998 became Director of the Public Information Agency. From October to April 2001, he was head of public information and spokesperson for the KFOR Commander in Kosovo. In July 2001 he was head of Operative Public Information at the Defense public information Offices and spokesperson of the Chief of Defense. General Fogari obtained a degree in strategic science at the University of Turin and a master in institutional communication at the CEIDA institute.
