Carlo Malinconico Castriota Scanderbeg is the current president of FIEG, the Federazione Italiana Editori Giornali (Italian federation of newspaper publishers) since 2008; he is also President Hon. of Chamber Council of State, and Professor of European Union law at the Tor Vergata university law school in Rome. He has greatly contributed to the field of European Union relations and economy and liberalization laws, holding various political positions throughout his career. He is the author of several books on administrative law and European Union laws.
