Roberto Natale, born in Rome in ’58, became a Rai journalist thanks to a scholarship won in ’81. He was hired by the Regional newsteam and was anchor of the Lazio regional news for 8 years. In his union activity he was firstly spokesman for the Fiesole group, then vice president of the Rome Press Association. In november 1996 for ten years he was Secretary of Usigrai (Rai journalists union), elected for three consecutive terms. Since november 2007 (Castellaneta Marina congress) he is president of Fnsi (National Federation for the Italian Press). Rai is the Italian public broadcaster.
