Andrea Riscassi is political correspondent of the RAI in the region of Lombardia. He previously reported for the RAI from Eastern Europe. Following the 2006 murder of Anna Politkovskaja he launched the appeal Un albero per Anna which led to the creation of the Annaviva association dealing with human rights and democracy in the former Soviet states. He is the author of Bandiera arancione la trionferà (2007) and Anna è viva, storia di una giornalista non rieducabile (2009). RAI is the Italian public service broadcaster.
