Mario Sconcerti begins his career by working on the sports pages at the birth of La Repubblica, today a leading Italian daily; he was editor of dailies Il Corriere dello Sport and Il Secolo XIX, and directed the journalistic agency Chilometri; for three years he was deputy editor of leading sports daily La Gazzetta dello Sport. Today he is the star writer of the sports section in daily Corriere della Sera.
