Serra Michele
La Repubblica
Michele Serra is a columnist of the Italian daily La Repubblica and of the Italian weekly L’Espresso. He previously wrote for the Italian daily L’Unità and the Italian weekly Panorama. In 1991 he founded the satirical weekly Cuore, the only Italian satirical publication of significance in living memory, of which he was editor from 1991 to 1994. He is author of the novel Il ragazzo mucca, two collections of short stories (Il nuovo che avanza and Cerimonie) two books of poetry (Poesie per incartare l’insalata and Canzoni politiche), three collections of journalistic writings (Tutti al mare, Che tempo fa and Tutti i santi giorni) and an opera libretto entitled La madre del mostro.
