Luca Valtorta, from Milan, wrote the book Sol Mutante with Alessandro Gomarasca regarding the new generations of contemporary Japan. He worked as a freelance journalist for many years, and was head writer of Musica magazine for leading italian daily La Repubblica. He is currently editor of Repubblica XL magazine.
