Concetto Vecchio, 39, is a political desk writer for Italian daily La Repubblica, after having worked in local papers for 15 years. He has written three books: Vietato obbedire (2005) on the 1968 student movements at the Sociology department in the University of Trento, Ali di Piombo (2007) on the ’77 movement, and Giovani e belli. Un anno fra i 30 enni all’epoca di Berlusconi (2009).
