Paul Lowe è un premiato fotografo freelance e insegnante che vive e lavora tra Sarajevo e Londra. Il suo lavoro è stato pubblicato sulle pubblicazioni Time, Newsweek, Life, Der Spiegel, The Observer e The Independent per citarne alcune. Ha documentato notizie straordinarie come la caduta del Muro di Berlino, il rilascio di Nelson Mandela, il genocidio in Rwanda, la distruzione di Grozny e il conflitto in ex-Jugoslavia, particolarmente in Bosnia. Recentemente ha pubblicato la sua prima monografia intitolata Bosnians, riguardante la situazione bellica e post-bellica in Bosnia. Attualmente sta sviluppando un programma educativo online per fotografi nei paesi in via di sviluppo in congiunzione con la World Press Photo Foundation ad Amsterdam. Dal 2004 Paul è direttore dei corsi del Master in fotogiornalismo al London College of Communication.

Paul Lowe is an award-winning freelance photographer and teacher living and working between Sarajevo and London. His work has appeared in Time, Newsweek, Life, Der Spiegel, The Observer and The Independent amongst others. He has covered breaking news the world over, including the fall of the Berlin Wall, Nelson Mandela’s release, the Rwandan genocide, the destruction of Grozny and the conflict in the former Yugoslavia, especially in Bosnia. He recently published his first monograph, entitled Bosnians, covering the war and post-war situation in Bosnia. He is currently developing an online educational programme for developing-world photographers in conjunction with the World Press Photo Foundation in Amsterdam. Since 2004, Paul has been course director of the Masters programme in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the London College of Communication.
