Jasmina Tešanović, femminista e attivista politica (Donne in Nero; movimento Pink), è scrittrice, giornalista, traduttrice e regista serba. Nel 1978 è nel gruppo promotore della prima conferenza femminista nell'Europa dell'Est, Drug-ca Zena, che si svolge a Belgrado. Con Slavica Stojanovic progetta e realizza la prima casa editrice femminista dei Balcani, Feminist 94, attività che durerà per 10 anni. È l'autrice di Diary of a Political Idiot (tradotto in italiano col titolo Normalità. Operetta morale di un'idiota politica), un diario di guerra scritto durante il conflitto del 1999 in Kosovo. Da allora ha pubblicato tutti i suoi lavori, diari, racconti e documentari su blog e altri media, sempre legati ad internet. Scrive un blog.

Jasmina Tešanović, feminist and political activist (Women in Black, Code Pink), is a translator, publisher and filmmaker. She was one of the organizers of the first feminist conference in Eastern Europe, Drug-ca Zena, in 1978, in Belgrade. With Slavica Stojanovic, she ran the first feminist publishing house in the Balkans, Feminist 94, for 10 years. She is the author of Diary of a Political Idiot, a war diary written during the 1999 Kosovo War and widely distributed on the Internet. Ever since then she has been publishing all her work, diaries, stories and films on blogs and other internet media. She writes a blog.
