Roberto Natale, nato a Roma nel 58, è laureato in Filosofia e giornalista Rai grazie ad una borsa di studio vinta nel 1981. Assunto nel 1988 alla Testata Giornalistica Regionale, è stato per 8 anni conduttore dei Tg e dei Gr della Redazione del Lazio.
Nell’attività sindacale è stato prima portavoce del Gruppo di Fiesole, poi vicepresidente dell’Associazione Stampa Romana. Dal novembre 1996 all’ottobre 2006 è stato Segretario dell’Usigrai (il Sindacato dei Giornalisti Rai), eletto per tre mandati consecutivi. Dal novembre 2007 (congresso di Castellaneta Marina) è Presidente della Fnsi.
Roberto Natale, born in Rome in '58, became a Rai journalist thanks to a scholarship won in '81. He was hired by the Regional newsteam and was anchor of the Lazio regional news for 8 years. In his union activity he was firstly spokesman for the Fiesole group, then vice president of the Rome Press Association. In november 1996 for ten years he was Secretary of Usigrai (Rai journalists union), elected for three consecutive terms. Since november 2007 (Castellaneta Marina congress) he is president of Fnsi (National Federation for the Italian Press). Rai is the Italian public broadcaster.
