Carlotta Mismetti Capua è giornalista e vive a Roma. Nel 2010 ha vinto il premio Ischia del Giornalismo per il suo storytelling su Facebook La città di Asterix: il corto ispirato alla storia di questo progetto ha vinto il Rome Fiction Fest. Ha lavorato a Time Out, la Repubblica, Epolis. Dal 1995 si è occupata di televisione e costume al Venerdì di Repubblica, La Tele, Tv Magazine, mentre oggi si occupa di culture e città per Vogue e L'espresso. E’ stata corrispondente dall’Italia per il mensile giapponese Eat. Ha collaborato al libro fotografico Wo-man (Calco) sulla vita dei transessuali di Milano, ed partecipato con le sue fotografie al progetto Memorabilia esposto nel 2009 alla Biennale di Cuenca dell’Ecuador.

Since 1995 she's been television and society correspondent for Venerdì di Repubblica, La Tele, Tv Magazine, while today she writes on the arts for Vogue and L'espresso. She was also Italy correspondent of the Japanese monthly Eat. She contributed to the photographic book Wo-man on the life of transexuals in Milan and participated with her own photos in the Memorabilia project exhibited at the Cuenca Biennial in Ecuador in 2009.
