Oggi non può più definirsi tale, perché non va quasi mai in trasferta, ma se potesse lo farebbe ancora. Nel 2007 ha pubblicato il libro Tifare contro. Una storia degli ultras italiani. Di mestiere non fa il giornalista.

Giovanni Francesio was born in 1970. He began going to the football stadium at the age of six, and never stopped. For many years he was an ultràs, a fanatical football supporter.
