Sir Peter Stothard è il direttore di The Times Literary Supplement. Precedentemente, dal 1992 al 2002, è stato direttore del Times, dove ha iniziato a lavorare nel 1981 ricoprendo i ruoli di: capo scrittore, vice direttore e direttore nella sede americana di Washington. Nel 2003 è stato insignito del ruolo di cavaliere per i servizi ed i contributi resi all’industria della stampa quotidiana. È l’autore di Thirty Days: An Inside Account of Tony Blair at War (2004) che nasce da un’attenta riflessione ai comportamenti e alle reazioni provenienti da Downing Street prima e durante l’invasione in Iraq. Sempre suo è On the Spartacus Road: A Spectacular Journey Through Ancient Italy (2010).

Sir Peter Stothard is editor of The Times Literary Supplement. He was previously editor of The Times from 1992 to 2002, having joined the newspaper in 1981 where he was chief leader writer, deputy editor and US editor based in Washington. He was knighted for services to the newspaper industry in 2003. He is the author of Thirty Days: An Inside Account of Tony Blair at War (2004), based on observations he made inside Downing Street during and prior to the invasion of Iraq, and On the Spartacus Road: A Spectacular Journey Through Ancient Italy (2010).
