When traditional channels fail, where will your journalism live? Connect with forward-thinking journalists, researchers, and media entrepreneurs for a casual exchange about sustainable approaches to audience engagement in a post-platform era.

As journalism's business models face unprecedented challenges, the $2.4 million SSHRC-funded Global Journalism Innovation Lab is uncovering how pioneering newsrooms are developing viable alternatives. The Lab brings together 14 co-investigators from leading institutions across Canada, Europe, and Australia to study the state of journalism and work with industry partners to innovate sustainable solutions.

This casual meet-up offers a unique opportunity to share knowledge on the latest trends, exchange ideas on what works and what doesn’t as we preview findings from the Lab's multi-year research on media innovation across four continents. Connect with and learn from journalists, academics, and entrepreneurial thinkers.

While the event is open to all, it will be particularly valuable for those actively working at the intersection of digital journalism, audience development, and sustainable business models.

This event is open to all but we require registration to monitor capacity.
