The world seems more violent now than it has been for a long time. We are dealing with two major wars and several smaller ones. Journalists also deal with online hatred, attacks on them as people by anybody from politicians to trolls, and the risk of that vitriol spreading to real life in their day jobs.

Reuters has been rethinking what safety and security looks like, investing in new ways of working and supporting their people on the ground. This session will give insight from three angles: how managers weigh risks and deal with authorities, how Reuters security team has changed its approach, and what this means for those on the front lines.

Organised in association with Reuters.

At the request of at least one of the speakers, this session will not be live-streamed and the video will not be placed online.
