Florence Wild is Chief Development Officer at CORRECTIV. In this role, she is responsible for CORRECTIV's sustainable growth and strategic positioning. Her responsibilities include collaborating with funding partners, individual and major donor fundraising, external communications, and strategic partnerships and networking in Germany and internationally. Previously, she spearheaded the development of CORRECTIV's Institutional Partnerships department and professionalized its grant acquisition efforts.

Florence brings ten years of professional experience from various non-profit organizations. Even before joining CORRECTIV, she was involved in strengthening non-profit and independent journalism in a variety of roles. For the British Thomson Foundation, she led projects supporting local media in northern Pakistan, Moldova, and the Western Balkans. At the Robert Bosch Foundation, her responsibilities included the cross-border investigative journalism program Reporters in the Field and the transatlantic project Finding Common Ground, which aimed to strengthen community-based journalism in the US and Europe.

Florence studied political science, cultural anthropology and international relations, with stints in Frankfurt, Berlin, Bordeaux, Kathmandu and Seoul.
