
Rebecca Harms is a German politician who was a member of the European Parliament from 2004 to 2019, where she served as chair of The Greens/European Free Alliance (Greens/EFA) group until 2016 and as chair of the parliamentary assembly of members of the European Parliament and the Eastern partnership countries (Ukraine, Republic of Moldova, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan).
Today, she is a member of the board of the Ukrainian Institute and the Executive Board of the European Centre for Press and Media Freedom. She is also a member of the Assembly of the Heinrich Böll Foundation and represents the Böll Foundation at ENOP, the European Network of Political Foundations. She has joined the Sustainability Council of the Volkswagen car manufacturer and continues to support and advise Civil Society Organisations in Germany and the Eastern partnership countries.
