Sydney Lewis is an associate product manager at The Minnesota Star Tribune where she leads Strib Varsity, a new product covering 32 high school sports across the state.

She is an alumna of the News Product Management Certification program from the News Product Alliance and the Newmark Graduate School of Journalism, and a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism. She was previously a product intern at The Texas Tribune and NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune focusing on education products and newsletters.

Sydney is passionate about building concrete career paths for emerging news product thinkers. In 2024, she created The Minnesota Star Tribune’s first product internship where she seeks to build a talent pipeline for college students interested in the intersection of news and product.
