Carlotta Dotto is a senior visual editor at CNN's As Equals. Her interest lies in utilising digital tools to conduct in-depth investigations, as well as exploring storytelling formats through emerging technologies. For the last 3 years and a half, she worked at CNN International based between London and Hong Kong, covering topics such as gender inequality, the climate crisis, migration, trafficking, human rights, disinformation, and mental health. Her previous work was featured by Al Jazeera, The Guardian, The Times, Wired UK, Deutsche Welle, the iPaper, La Repubblica, First Draft, and others. Additionally, she is a trainer and public speaker on data journalism, and OSINT techniques. She holds a Master's degree in Digital Journalism from Goldsmiths University in London.
