Marisa Mazria Katz
Marisa Mazria Katz is a journalist/editor who has contributed to numerous publications on culture and politics, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Vogue, The New York Review of Books and NPR. She is the Executive Director of the Center for Artistic Inquiry and Reporting and founding director of the Eyebeam Center for the Future of Journalism. Under her tenure at Eyebeam she supported pieces that ran in The Atlantic, The New Yorker, The New York Times, Wired and The Guardian. Marisa was also the Editor-in-Chief of Creative Time Reports, an online platform featuring artists as correspondents on the news, bringing their own unique spin to current events. She was a Kickstarter fellow in 2018, and her most recent book, entitled Artists on the News, was published by Paper Chase Press in 2019. She teaches a course at the Rhode Island School of Design called "Artists Report: Making the News.”
