Paul Caruana Galizia

Paul Caruana Galizia is an investigative reporter at the Financial Times. He became a journalist in 2018 after his mother Daphne’s assassination and has since won ten journalism awards. His book, A Death in Malta, won the Overseas Press Club’s Cornelius Ryan Award and was named one of The Times’ top ten true-crime books of all time. He has also received the Magnitsky and Anderson-Lucas-Norman awards for campaigning for justice for his mother. He previously worked at Tortoise, where he made a podcast about the Islamic Republic's murder and kidnap plots against Iranian dissidents in the UK.
