Alexander Baratsits is the founding president of the Cultural Broadcasting Archive (CBA), a civil society media and communication platform. The CBA operates as a non-profit and independent technical infrastructure that is not part of commercial interests. In this way, they promote freedom of expression, media diversity and digital communication. That is how they contribute to the democratization of the digital media landscape.
Alexander is the legal lead at the Creative Commons Austria. He has worked as a legal expert since 2006, with a focus on commercial law and intellectual property law, LegalTech and AI both technically and legally.
